Trains operate similarly but offer a unique advantage by letting you visit locations you have not yet explored on foot. You can purchase a train ticket from any local post office clerk to ride the rails across state lines. This method is incredibly useful for opening up the map during the opening hours of your adventure.
Cinematic Mode and Automatic Horse Navigation
While not a traditional teleportation mechanic, cinematic mode functions as a hands-free method for covering long distances. If you place a waypoint on your map and get your horse up to a steady gallop, holding the camera button activates this mode. Your horse will then automatically follow the designated trails to your exact destination.
This option allows you to sit back and enjoy the stunning landscapes without constantly steering. However, players must remain cautious as random roadside ambushes or wild animal attacks can still occur during the journey.
