After navigating the upper cliffside pathways, the trail of coins will guide you directly toward a secluded area on the bottom left side of the region. Your quest objective will officially update as you approach a large rocky cave known locally as a Niffler den. This location is situated relatively close to the Feldcroft Catacomb Floo Flame landmark which makes returning here later quite convenient.
Inside this cavernous hideout, you will discover that the true culprit behind the village robberies is an untamed Niffler hoarding shiny objects. The creature will actively scramble around the den, requiring you to quickly equip and use your Nab-Sack utility to capture it securely. Once the magical beast is safely inside your inventory, climb up the rocky ledges within the den to locate the stolen Haggarty family heirloom resting on a pile of gold.
Returning the Haggarty Heirloom
With both the creature and the family heirloom in your possession, fast travel back to the Irondale Floo Flame to conclude the mission. Approach Padraic Haggarty at his usual vendor stall to deliver the surprising news that a Niffler was responsible for the local crime wave. You will then be prompted to return the precious item to the relieved goblin merchant.
During this final interaction, you can choose to return the heirloom freely or demand a small financial reward for your extensive tracking services.
